Mini split cost per zone.

Updated September 2026

Most local HVAC contractors quote mini split installations on a custom basis, with prices ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 per zone. This can make it difficult for homeowners to budget for their installation. ATX Mini Split King offers a flat-rate alternative, with prices starting at $1,500 for a single-zone installation. This price includes materials and labor, and is installed by a TDLR-licensed contractor.

Understanding Mini Split Cost Per Zone

Most local HVAC contractors quote mini split installations on a custom basis, with prices ranging from $2,000 to $5,000 per zone. This can make it difficult for homeowners to budget for their installation. ATX Mini Split King offers a flat-rate alternative, with prices starting at $1,500 for a single-zone installation. This price includes materials and labor, and is installed by a TDLR-licensed contractor.

Our flat-rate pricing applies to new installations of 1, 2, or 3 zones, and includes everything needed for a complete installation. For a single-zone garage install, the price is $1,500 flat, and includes a Home Depot run for touch-up paint if needed. We do not charge extra for most installations, but there may be exceptions for very long line sets, panel upgrades, or unusually difficult mounting.
