Flat rate mini split installs for Austin fitness studios.
Updated September 2026
A packed yoga or HIIT class can push indoor temperatures past what a standard retail HVAC can handle. We install ductless mini split heat pumps on a flat rate so you know the full cost before we start. One zone $1,500, two zones $2,500, three zones $3,500. Licensed contractors, same day finish, tested before we leave.
Flat pricing, same everywhere we work
| System | Flat price, installed | Included |
|---|---|---|
| One split (single room) | $1,500 | Indoor head, outdoor condenser, line set, standard electrical, all labor |
| Two splits | $2,500 | Everything above, two zones |
| Three splits | $3,500 | Everything above, three zones |
Every install is wired to code by our TDLR-licensed contractor. Long line-set runs, panel upgrades or unusual mounting can add cost, and we tell you up front, before any work starts. For market context, see our Austin mini split cost guide: typical Central Texas quotes run $3,000 to $5,000 for a single zone.
Why your studio needs a dedicated cooling system.
A typical 1,200 square foot converted retail space with a packaged rooftop unit was never designed for 20 bodies doing burpees in August. Body heat, humidity, and equipment all add load. A ductless mini split system adds a second zone or replaces an undersized unit with spot cooling exactly where students sweat. Our flat rate covers the indoor head, outdoor condenser, line set, standard electrical hookup, and a Home Depot run for touch up paint if needed.
The flat pricing includes materials and labor with no hidden fees. One zone $1,500, two zones $2,500, three zones $3,500. Industry custom quotes for ductless installs often run $2,000 to $5,000 per zone and require an in home visit before you get a number. We skip that. We tell you the price upfront and only call out honest exceptions before work starts, like a very long line set or a panel upgrade the building already needed.
Heat pumps work year round in Central Texas.
Mini splits are heat pumps, meaning they reverse cycle to heat during Austin's mild winters. No separate furnace or ductwork is needed. For a studio that runs hot yoga at 105 degrees and then cool down classes, a single system can handle both extremes. We install multi zone setups so you can keep the lobby at 72 while the yoga room runs at 68 and the weight room stays at 70. Each zone has its own thermostat and remote.
Our installations are performed by TDLR licensed contractors. Most 1 to 3 zone installs finish in a single day and are tested before the crew leaves. We have done dozens of studio conversions in Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Leander, Pflugerville, Hutto, and the wider Central Texas corridor. We do not install generators, solar panels, or perform panel upgrades beyond the standard electrical hookup included in the flat rate. If you need insulation or ductwork demolition, we can tell you what to know but we do not offer that service ourselves.
Questions
Can a ductless mini split cool a hot yoga room that runs at 105 degrees?
Yes, but the system must be sized for the peak heat load. A standard 1.5 ton unit may struggle in a room that holds 15 students at 105 degrees. We can recommend a larger outdoor unit or a second zone to handle the recovery time between sessions.
Do I need to already have 220 volt power in my studio for the installation?
The flat rate includes a standard electrical hookup to an existing 220 volt circuit within a reasonable distance. If your space does not have a 220 volt drop, you may need a new circuit, which is an honest exception we will identify before work starts. We do not perform panel upgrades.
How long does a typical installation take for a 3 zone system in a studio?
Most 1 to 3 zone installs finish in a single day. The crew arrives in the morning, mounts the indoor units, runs the line sets, sets the outdoor condenser, and tests each zone. For a studio, we work around your class schedule to minimize disruption. The system is fully operational and tested before we leave.
We install across Central Texas. See the Austin mini split cost guide, full Central Texas service area or Austin mini split installation.
