Flat-rate mini split installs for Central Texas builders.
Updated September 2026
For homebuilders in Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Leander, Pflugerville, Hutto and the wider Central Texas corridor, ATX Mini Split King offers flat-rate ductless mini split installation at $1,500 for one split, $2,500 for two splits, and $3,500 for three splits. These prices include materials and labor, plus a Home Depot run for touch-up paint if needed.
Flat pricing, same everywhere we work
| System | Flat price, installed | Included |
|---|---|---|
| One split (single room) | $1,500 | Indoor head, outdoor condenser, line set, standard electrical, all labor |
| Two splits | $2,500 | Everything above, two zones |
| Three splits | $3,500 | Everything above, three zones |
Every install is wired to code by our TDLR-licensed contractor. Long line-set runs, panel upgrades or unusual mounting can add cost, and we tell you up front, before any work starts. For market context, see our Austin mini split cost guide: typical Central Texas quotes run $3,000 to $5,000 for a single zone.
Why builders choose flat-rate ductless installs.
When specing a bonus room, casita or garage apartment, the mechanical plan is often tight. A ductless mini split frees up floor space and avoids the ductwork that a central system requires. Our flat pricing covers a standard install, including the electrical hookup and a Home Depot run for touch-up paint if needed, so you get a finished wall without another trade to schedule. We handle the line set concealment and wall penetration, and test the unit before we leave.
Most one to three zone installs finish in a single day, which fits the schedule of a jobsite that moves fast. Our flat rate covers materials plus labor, so there are no per-foot surprises. We do not do repairs or service calls, only new installs. If we see an honest exception like a very long line set, a panel upgrade the house already needed, or unusually difficult mounting, we tell you before work starts, never after.
How our installs work with your build timeline.
Mini splits operate as heat pumps, cooling through brutal Central Texas summers and heating through mild winters without a separate furnace. This eliminates the need for gas line runs or a separate air handler closet. Our TDLR-licensed contractors mount the indoor head unit, drill the wall penetration, run the line set, and connect to the outdoor condenser. We include the standard electrical hookup to an existing breaker or subpanel, and we handle the condensate drain.
We do not offer panel upgrades beyond a standard hookup, insulation installation, ductwork demolition, solar, or generator work. If you need a panel upgrade, tell your electrician that the house already needed it. For unusually difficult mounting or a very long line set, we quote the exception in writing before work begins. Our flat-rate pricing for one, two, or three splits means you can budget for the job without an in-home quote visit.
Questions
What is included in the $1,500 flat price for one split?
The flat price covers materials and labor for a standard new ductless mini split installation, including the electrical hookup and a Home Depot run for touch-up paint if needed. It does not include panel upgrades, long line sets, or unusually difficult mounting, which we will quote before work starts.
Do you install in new construction homes or only existing houses?
We install in both new construction and existing homes. For new builds, we prefer the rough-in to be done during the framing stage so we can conceal the line set in the wall. We coordinate with your general contractor to schedule the install at the right point in your build timeline.
Can you install a ductless system in a garage apartment or casita?
Yes, we install in bonus rooms, casitas, garage apartments, and any other habitable space. These are common requests from builders because a ductless mini split does not require a dedicated mechanical closet or ductwork, saving valuable square footage in a compact floor plan.
We install across Central Texas. See the Austin mini split cost guide, full Central Texas service area or Austin mini split installation.
